UNDER- GRADUATE CLASSES

General eligibility condition:-

For B.A. Part – I (Semester-I)

(a) Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (10+2 standard ) of Board of School Education, Haryana. 

(b) Any other Examination recognized by Academic Council as equivalent to (a)

(c) English as one of the subjects in qualifying Exam.

(d) At least 35% marks in aggregate in qualifying examination.

Three Year degree Course – Humanities Group

A. Student will be required to choose from the following subjects:- 

Compulsory Subjects :-

1.  English
2.  Hindi
3.  Envionmental Studies (for B.A. Part-I Only)
4.  Level- I(Certificate course in Computer Education for B.A. I Only)

Elective Subjects :- (Two Subjects out of the following)

1.  Sanskrit/Punjabi
2.  Economics
3.  Political Science
4.  History
5.  Mathematics
6.  Health & Physical Education
7.  Computer Science

Note :-  1. Mathematics is note allowed with History & Pol. Sc.

              2. Computer Sc. is allowed only with Maths & Economics

              3. The Language offered as a compulsory subject shall not be offered as an elective subject. 

Note :- The decision of the Academic Council, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra made vide Resolution No. 39 Dated 21-04-2014 that the students should not be promoted to 5th semester class of the under graduate courses unless they have passed all the papers of 1st semester of under graduate courses, already circu-lated vide above refered circular letter, shall be effective on the students taking admission to 1st semester/first year of the UG courses in the session 2014-15 and onwards.

Note :- Those students who have not appeared in their previous class semester examination in all the subjects, will not be promoted to next higher class.
